Disneyland Resort Offers Free Coronavirus Testing To Cast Members

ANAHEIM, CA —They’re the people we see walking into Downtown Disney, the ones taking temperatures, reminding you to put on your mask or socially distance amid the coronavirus slow reopening of Disneyland Resort. Now, Disneyland is showing how they are protecting their workers by offering more testing.

On Friday, the theme park shared a new offering for cast members: a free and accessible method to test for coronavirus, a spokesperson for the park tells Patch.

Starting Oct. 26, through a partnership with Quest Labs, employees can request a coronavirus test from their own homes.

The program, increasing options for testing, is all part of the Disneyland Resort’s comprehensive approach to health and safety measures, according to Dr. Pamela Hymel, Chief Medical Officer for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

The scheme ends on October 8, and there are just 21,000 tickets on offer, with a number issued per country, per day.

If successful, teachers will be given a complimentary economy class ticket to any destination on offer by Qatar Airways, as well as 50 per cent off a ticket which you can use yourself in the future, or for a friend or family member.

The flight must go through Doha, and can be used from October 20, 2020, to September 30, 2021.

Universal Orlando Resort offering 3 days free with purchase of 2-day passes, additional deals for Floridians

Universal Orlando hopes to lure back visitors with a brand new promotion.

The resort, which became one of Florida’s first major theme parks to reopen when it welcomed back guests in early June, is now offering three free days with the purchase of “2-Park 2-Day” passes, or five days for the price of just two.

There are two versions of the deal currently available: One that grants guests admission to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure on the same days, for each of the five days (tickets cost $303.95 per adult, $293.99 per child), and one that allows admission to only one of those parks per day, for each of the five days ($243.99 per adult, $233.99 per child).
